ORIENTATION CALL - Welcome to Peer Executive Groups

  • Participate in a call with our Experience Manager, Charlie Petersen, where you will discuss what you hope to get from your Peer Group Experience. You will also give us a brief background on yourself and your company, your inventory mix, stage of business, and 3-5 year plan. 

FIRST WEEK - Welcome to your new group!

  • Complete: NDA, Management Systems Form, EFT/Credit Card Authorization Form, and Agreement of Services. 

  • Participate in a call with your group’s facilitator.
    ** Email sent to your new group welcoming you and your business **

FIRST MONTH

  • Set up Rate of Change

  • Offer in-depth financial review and map out PEG’s chart of accounts (YTD, P&L, Balance Sheet)

PEG NEW MEMBER FOUNDATION SYSTEM

Please note: Our new members fall into the timeline based on the calendar quarter in which they join. For example, if a new member joins in August, they would fall in Quarter 3 — their first year would be from August to August (Q3, Q4, Q2, Q1).

  • Quarter 1 - VALUATION & FINANCIAL (January, February, March)

    • Complete: Valuation Drivers Scorecard and Financial Scorecard, Formal Valuation Can be Completed by PEG Staff for an additional cost.

    • PEG will also introduce job costing to our event members not already doing this.

    • Preparing for your Spring Meeting:

      • Participate in a call with Charlie to prepare for your meeting.

        • Complete:

          • Inputs to the composite book

          • A brief member presentation using PEG’s template

          • A list of action items to report to the group

          • Also let us know of any topics you would like to see on the agenda.

  • Quarter 2 - SALES & MARKETING (April, May, June)

    • Complete: Sales and Marketing Scorecard

    • Post Spring Meeting - How was it?

      • Participate in a call with Charlie to discuss how you liked your meeting (what went well and what didn’t, how did you like your group, are there any changes you want to see made, etc.)

      • What are your action items coming out of your Spring Meeting?

  • Quarter 3 - OPERATIONS (July, August, September)

    • Complete: Operations Scorecard

  • Quarter 4 - STRATEGY & PEOPLE (October, November, December)

    • Preparing for your Fall Meeting:

      • Participate in a call with Charlie to prepare for your meeting.

        • Complete:

          • A brief member presentation using PEG’s template

          • A list of action items to report to the group

          • Also let us know of any topics you would like to see on the agenda.

    • Post Fall Meeting - How was it?

      • Participate in a call with Charlie to discuss how you liked your meeting (what went well and what didn’t, how did you like your group, are there any changes you want to see made, etc.)

FIRST YEAR CHECK-UP

  • Participate in a call with Charlie where he will ask about your first year in your Peer Group. Did your first year meet your expectations?

  • What was your biggest challenge and win of the year?

STAY IN TOUCH WITH US!

  • Group Email - Each group is assigned a group shared email, making it easy to contact your whole group as opposed to having to include each member’s emails when you are looking to reach out to your peers. Once you are an official group member, you will be added by Zoe.

  • Group Text - Each group has a preferred method of communication. Regardless of what platform your group chooses, these group chats are used as an informal setting to reach out to your peers, send status updates to the group, or ask any questions you may have.

  • Newsletter - Stay in touch with Peer Executive Groups all year long through our weekly newsletter sent out every Thursday at 11AM EST. Subscribe to receive industry updates, PEG announcements, member benefits, and other exciting news.

  • PEG Youtube - Subscribe to our YouTube for meaningful videos covering a wide array of topics from succession planning to managing multiple rental stores. Our Youtube is also where all of our recorded webinars and book clubs live permanently. View our YouTube here.
