Frequently Asked Questions

I just completed my Peer Group Interest Form, what’s next?

Once you’ve completed your Peer Group Interest Form, you will receive a call from our Membership Experience Manager, Charlie Petersen. During your onboarding call, Charlie will welcome you to Peer Executive Groups, walk you through our membership timeline, and get to know you and your company. For information regarding our rookie process, view our “Rookie Resource Center.” To see our full membership timeline, click here.

How should I prepare for my first group meeting?

Zoe Zsido, our Membership & Events Manager, will contact you, along with the rest of the group, as soon as contracts are in place with the hotel you’ll stay in during your meeting. From there you’ll book your hotel and arrange transportation to get to the meeting. We encourage you to check with your facilitator for previous meeting topics, and to review the websites or social media pages of your group to get a head start on getting to know your peers! You will also receive an initial meeting agenda and itinerary 1 month prior to your meeting.

What are the benefits to being a PEG Member?

Joining a Peer Group opens the door to receive advice, support, and accountability from businesses just like yours. With peers from different walks of life and differing areas of expertise, you’ll be able to take what you learn and achieve new levels of success in all areas of your business. Besides shared experience, expertise, and knowledge, joining a Peer Group also opens the door to our many strategic partnerships and vendor offerings available exclusively to our members. What do the bi-annual Peer Group meetings look like? What is the time commitment?

Our group meetings are held twice a year in whatever city the group chooses, with members rotating as hosts. Over the course of the two day meeting the group covers a variety of topics: People, Marketing, Financial Benchmarking, Strategic Planning, Emerging Markets, etc. The group will also tour the host’s facility gaining valuable insights and offering suggestions. In addition to the meeting, the group also participates in group dinners and other bonding activities. PEG provides a professional facilitator and all of the administration needed to prepare for the meeting. Outside of the bi-annual meetings, most of our groups actively participate in monthly meet-up calls.

How do I find a group that’s best for me?

Once you’ve completed your Peer Group Interest Form, we will work with you to find the group best for you and your business. When we are placing new members, we considering the following:

  • Industry

  • Size

  • Inventory Mix

  • Region/Competitive Market - competitors are never placed in the same group

  • Stage of Business

Can I put other people in my organization in a Peer Group too?
